Octagon bar is armed with a savvy menu of beers, cocktails and virgin coolers and tucked away on one of Maitama’s deceptively quiet streets, Bamboo has morphed from a typically Nigerian residential house into an impressively large and versatile entertainment space. Outside, the decor is holiday chic- a fence made, naturally, of bamboo rings the uber comfortable canopy area. Full of well upholstered wicker chairs and low hanging gauzy white curtains, this section is perfect for a relaxed, but boozy evening. And if you find you need something to help mop up the delicious, but lethal, cocktails ask your waiter for a platter of their fantastic chicken suya.
