Hilltop Schools was established in 1992, and it comprised Nursery, Kindergarten and Primary Sections. From September 2009, Hilltop High School, a secondary school, was added to Hilltop Schools. The Nursery/Primary School is situated on a purpose-built site in a quiet area of Edjeba, conducive for teaching and learning process. Hilltop High School is situated on its own site, in another quiet area of Edjeba, a 5-minute walk from the Nursery/Primary School.
 

Hilltop Schools are renowned for high educational standards, moral discipline and integrity, making it one of the leading schools in Warri Metropolis. The excellent performance of pupils in external exams (e.g. The National Common Entrance) bears testimony to the quality of education and discipline for which Hilltop School is noted. The Ministry of Education, both at Local Government and State Levels, continue to commend the school on its performance.
