Stelladex started on a manual note with just the diagnostic set, the trial lens set and the snellen’s acuity charts for near and distance.. In 1993 she got an office space outside the house on Moloney street, Lagos, Nigeria. The clinic grew until in 1998 a branch was opened in Abuja which later became the head office. By year 2000, the Abuja clinic became fully computerized with the automated refractor GR-21 Designed by Grand Seiko, the Octopus Visual Field Analyzer assisted by a hp desk jet printer which prints the visual field plots, to mention a few. Stelladex run on public holidays between the hours of 11am till 4pm. The clinic structure is broken into various units or sections such as the Administrative section, the public relations section, clinics, pharmacy, optical section and contact lens section.
