Chestron Limited is an innovative Environmental Engineering company based in Lagos Nigeria since 2009 and specialized in Waste Management and Recycling of waste materials from all waste streams in Nigeria and Africa. Chestron knows that everything is made up of material and that every material has certain amount of energy stored in it. When every material gets to its end-of-life it becomes waste. We recycle these wastes to recover the materials and also to recover the energy stored inside. We get meaningful raw materials or end products from them. We can also generate electricity and some fuels from them using some simple techniques and some advance technologies that are readily available.

Chestron was founded by Chidubem Uchendu and was incorporated in Nigeria under the Corporate Affairs Commission in December 2009. Mr Uchendu holds a European Master of Science degree in Environmental Technology and Management from De Montfort University Leicester, UK in 2007. He also studied in the University of Applied Sciences Emden, Germany and Aalborg Universitet Esbjerg, Denmark both in 2006.

After his bachelors degree in Industrial Chemistry from Federal University of Technology Owerri, Imo State, Nigeria in 2001, Chidubem began to discover lots of deficiencies in waste management in Nigeria. His concerns also grew regarding the inefficiencies in energy availability and use in Nigeria. These motivated him to further his studies in Environmental Technology and Management in Europe during which he researched on new ways to manage Nigeria’s waste and generate energy from them. Upon his return, he founded Chestron as the platformthrough which he would develop better environmental management systems for Nigeria both in the public and private sectors. He has worked ever since to passionately recycle waste by transforming them to new products or to raw materials for further industrial production and to energy thereby making Nigeria cleaner, greener and more energy efficient.
