The National Examination Council is a council which conducts the senior secondary certification examination and general certificate in education in Nigeria. National Examination Council is an Examination body in Nigeria that conducts the Senior Secondary Certificate Examination and the general certificate in education, It was having six departments, each headed by director,each department has divisions, composed of units. A team of directors and a registrar are the governing body.And they are responsible for conducting of exams and issuing results and the problems regarding examinations will be handled by this council and rectified, the decision regarding any issue or problems will be taken by the directors and registrar in the council and gives instructions to the people under them.
